Nurse Practitioner (FNP) | Outpatient Urology Palm Springs Urology Medical Group | Palm Springs, CA $120,000-$160,000 annual base salary + productivity-based bonus opportunities Monday-Friday clinic schedule | New graduates welcome | Urology experience not required Build your urology skills in a physician-owned outpatient practice in Palm Springs. We're looking for a compassionate Nurse Practitioner who is eager to learn, enjoys working with a clinical team, and is interested in caring for patients with a broad range of men's and women's urologic conditions. This role offers hands-on procedural experience and independence in day-to-day patient care, with physician consultation available. Your Schedule and Support Clinic schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with lunch from noon-1:30 p.m.

Patient volume:

Expect 20-30 patients daily once fully trained, potentially increasing to 35 as patient volume grows.

Support team:

One back-office LVN, one check-in staff member, one check-out staff member, and one float staff member.

Physician collaboration:

An experienced, board-certified urologist is onsite one day each week and available by phone or messaging on other clinic days. You will serve as the primary onsite provider four days per week.

After-hours responsibilities:

Receive patient voicemails and respond to urgent needs. Office staff follow up on nonurgent voicemails during regular business hours. What You'll Do Evaluate new and established patients and manage outpatient urologic conditions. Perform patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide follow-up care in collaboration with the physician. Review laboratory results, imaging, and diagnostic studies. Educate patients about diagnoses, medications, treatment options, and preventive care. Document encounters accurately in the EMR and coordinate care with the clinical team. Manage visits independently and seek physician consultation when needed. Office-Based Procedures Develop skills in the following procedures, with progression toward independent performance based on training, demonstrated competency, and physician assessment of readiness: Cystoscopy Shockwave therapy for erectile dysfunction Catheter insertions and exchanges Trimix patient education and injection training Biopsies and vasectomies are not included in the NP's independent procedural responsibilities. Qualifications Active California Nurse Practitioner license. Board certification as an AGNP, FNP, or related specialty. New graduates welcome; prior NP or urology experience is not required. Willingness to learn and develop specialty skills. Strong communication, organization, and clinical judgment. Comfortable with the role's independent patient-care responsibilities and seeking physician guidance when needed. DEA license and EMR experience preferred. Compensation and Benefits Annual base salary of $120,000-$160,000 , plus productivity-based bonus opportunities. Practice pays 100% of health insurance premiums and 80% of dental and vision insurance premiums . One week of paid time off for vacation or sick time. CME reimbursement. 401(k) available without an employer match. Malpractice insurance, licensing, DEA registration, and certification expenses are the NP's responsibility.
