Qualifications Mid-level Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a Sub-Investigator for clinical research studies in Pomona, Northridge, and Pasadena . In this role, you will support the Principal Investigator in the conduct of clinical trials while providing high-quality care to study participants. This position offers flexible hours, a collaborative work environment, and comprehensive training. You will work directly with research participants in a setting similar to a traditional clinical practice.
Responsibilities:
Conduct and document complete physical examinations of research participants. Review medical histories, laboratory results, and diagnostic tests. Perform minor clinical procedures, including blood collection and other protocol-related assessments. Diagnose, assess, and treat study participants in alignment with study protocols. Collaborate with the Principal Investigator (PI) and clinical research team to ensure adherence to study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory requirements. Monitor participant safety, report adverse events, and ensure proper documentation. Maintain accurate and timely study-related records in compliance with sponsor and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Licensed and Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (required). Graduation from an accredited NP program. Current CPR and First Aid certification. Certification in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Human Subjects Protection (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Prior clinical experience (research experience preferred, but training provided). Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Pay:
$60-85/hr
