Family Medicine | Locum Tenens | California A well-established outpatient Family Medicine clinic in California is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for an ongoing locum tenens assignment. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule, a collaborative clinical environment, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a community-focused practice.

Scheduled Clinical Hours Only Providers Needed:
1 Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services to pediatric and adult patients Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic Complete chart closure within 72 hours Collaborate with clinical and support staff to ensure excellent patient care Qualifications Required Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar outpatient setting Active California license at the time of submission Active DEA prior to start date BLS Certification Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine Comfortable treating patients across the lifespan Nurse Practitioner Requirements Furnishing License with Schedule II authority Physician Assistant Requirements California Controlled Substance Education Course Certificate Preferred Chronic Pain Management experience ORP (Ordering, Referring, and Prescribing) Medi-Cal enrollment Providers not currently ORP enrolled must be willing to enroll during credentialing. Credentialing & Compliance Estimated credentialing timeframe: 45-90 days CVs must include month and year for all employment history All employment gaps must be clearly explained INDITP Interested?
