Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality patient care across a diverse range of medical settings, including acute, chronic, and specialized care environments. Your expertise will support diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients' health needs while collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes through comprehensive assessments, innovative treatment plans, and compassionate communication. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations, Annual Wellness Visits ( AWV) and patient assessments to determine health status and develop appropriate care plans. Prescribe medications, including controlled substances in accordance with DEA regulations, and manage medication administration. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) system Epic for accurate medical documentation and patient records management. Collaborate with healthcare professionals across specialties to ensure comprehensive patient care. Provide telehealth services to expand access to care for diverse populations. Assist in diagnostic evaluations using laboratory testing, sonography, and specimen collection/processing while adhering to infection control protocols. Qualifications Valid certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current state licensure. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems Epic for efficient documentation. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), ICD-10/ICD-9 standards. Skilled in patient assessment involving vital signs measurement, intake evaluation, physical examinations and medical documentation accuracy. Familiarity with specialty areas including gastroenterology, pain management (acute & chronic), occupational health, hospice & palliative care; experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams using
EMR :
Epic while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Additional skills such as telehealth experience, simple Incision and drainage, liquid nitrogen treatment would be helpful. Pay:
$130,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
