Job Summary Dr. Quintanilla is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner competent in the field of Pediatrics to provide direct care in his private office to patients ranging from the newborn period until age 17 years which will include routine well checks and sick visits; the NP provider will be assisted by a front office and back office staff members who will perform all procedures - including immunizations - ordered by the provider. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. Duties Perform thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to identify health issues accurately. Prescribe medications and treatment regimens in accordance with state laws and accepted standard of care. Experience or ability to utilize EMR systems, this office uses Next-Gen system; paper charting is also available if needed. Excellent patient/staff communication skills with a focus on compassionate patient care; experience working with children is preferred. Our patient demographics is 50% Hispanic with about 20% Spanish speaking only, so knowledge of the Spanish language is preferred but not mandatory.
