09/01/2026 Job Description Make an Impact Where it Matters Most as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, California Deliver patient-centered care that makes a difference. In this role, you'll collaborate with a skilled team, contribute to clinical excellence, and enjoy opportunities for professional growth - all while serving the Fresno community. We are hiring full-time or part-time hospitalist nurse practitioners for day rounding shifts.
Local Team Collaboration:
Join a team of 50 physicians and 10 Advanced Practice Providers at Community Regional Medical Center. Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. Become an integral member of the hospitalist team and community. Community Medical Centers is affiliated with UCSF Fresno, which offers training to residents and fellows. Community Regional Medical Center is a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Qualifications:
Board-certified/eligible nurse practitioners with acute care certification required. Active California license preferred. Experience working as an advanced practice provider in an acute care hospital setting is required. Ability to work well in a team-based environment, focusing on collaboration and patient-centered care.
Scheduling:
We are looking for a nurse practitioner interested in rounding in a day shift role. 7 on/7 off schedule. Shifts are 12 hours in length; 7 am - 7 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient care in a closed ICU environment. Work alongside other day and swing shift advanced practice providers. Our patient population is diverse, so we are looking for a nurse practitioner who relishes the challenge of addressing a broad spectrum of patient needs. Utilize Epic EMR system.
