Job Description

Our outpatient clinic is a physician-led interventional pain and orthobiolgics practice in Valencia and Tarzana. We're hiring an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a part-time role — Thursdays, Fridays and 1 Saturday per month covering in-person evaluations, follow-ups, some injections and telehealth. This is an ideal fit for a provider looking to add two focused days a week, including weekend availability, inside a conservative, well-run practice. We practice evidence-based, procedure- and rehabilitation-focused pain medicine. Controlled substances make up less than 10% of our prescribing — if you want to do pain management without a high-opioid patient panel, this is the practice for you. Know medical Spanish is a huge plus! What you'll do Perform in-person new-patient evaluations and follow-up visits Manage medications with a conservative, guideline-driven approach (controlled substances are a small fraction of our care model) Conduct telehealth visits for appropriate follow-ups and consultations Coordinate care with our physician and clinical team, and help patients navigate their treatment plans Document clearly and support accurate coding and medical necessity What we're looking for Active California NP or PA license in good standing DEA registration (and CA furnishing license) Experience in pain management, PM&R, primary care, or a related field (pain/PM&R experience a strong plus) Comfortable practicing conservative, non-opioid-forward pain medicine Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and a patient-centered approach Comfortable with EMR and telehealth platforms Schedule & pay
Part-time:
Thursdays and Saturdays (1-2 days per week) $75-$90 per hour, depending on experience and credentials A mix of in-person and telehealth visits (more in person, than telehealth) Why join us Conservative, low-controlled-substance model — practice medicine you can stand behind Weekend and midweek days that fit around another role or a lighter schedule Physician-led practice with real clinical support and collaboration Small team where you're a valued provider, not a visit-volume number To apply: Submit your resume through Indeed. Tell us briefly about your clinical experience, your availability for Thursdays and Saturdays, and what draws you to a conservative, procedure-focused pain practice.
