We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day assignment in California, commencing Oct 21, 2026. This full-time role involves managing all aspects of outpatient family medicine from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, where you will provide comprehensive care for a diverse patient population in a rural setting, including essential wound care services. Responsibilities and Duties Manage a wide scope of outpatient family medicine cases, including acute and chronic conditions. Perform wellness checks, injury prevention, and address common ailments such as cold, cough, and flu. Provide essential wound care, particularly for diabetic and venous stasis ulcers, utilizing hydrocolloid and hydrogel dressings and Unna boots. Conduct numerous blood draws as required by the clinic. Comfortably assess and treat patients across all age groups. Prescribe birth control, including IUD insertions and removals; Nexplanon certification is a plus. Address minor orthopedic cases. Engage in discussions regarding addiction medicine philosophies.
