About the Job Dermatology Physician Assistant Opportunity. Willing to train in general Derm & cosmetics. $150,000 - $175,000 starting pay range. Full benefits and additional bonuses.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Spanish speaking a plus. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a dermatology practice setting, diagnosing and treating various skin conditions, performing minor procedures, and educating patients on skincare and treatment plans. Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations. Diagnose and treat a variety of dermatologic conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin infections. Prescribe medications and recommend treatment plans based on patient needs.
Procedures:
Perform dermatologic procedures, such as biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and suturing under supervision. Assist in cosmetic dermatology treatments like chemical peels, laser treatments, and injectable therapies (if applicable).
Patient Education:
Educate patients on proper skincare routines, treatment plans, and preventative measures. Provide post-procedure care instructions and ensure patient understanding.
Collaboration:
Work closely with supervising dermatologists to develop and execute treatment plans. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient visits, treatments, and follow-ups in compliance with legal and medical standards. Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for efficient documentation.
