Hour Shifts:
Mon-Fri shifts are 8:00 AM
  • 6:00 PM ; Sat-Sun shifts are 8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM .
No late nights, no overnight calls.
Alternating Structure:
Highly predictable flexible schedule featuring 3 shifts one week, alternating with 4 shifts the next. 1
Month Advanced Notice:
Rosters are published a full month ahead so you can plan your life outside the clinic.
Collaborative Team Coverage:
We foster a true team culture where providers work together to cover each other when unexpected scheduling needs arise.
Weekend & Holiday Commitment:
2 weekends per month required; shared, equitable holiday rotation among the provider team. Core Responsibilities Provide autonomous episodic care to pediatric and adult patients (all ages). Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, infections, and minor injuries.
Perform urgent care procedures:
suturing, splinting, incision & drainage (I&D), and foreign body removal. Manage basic Occupational Health and Workers' Compensation (WC) cases. Interpret digital X-rays and EKGs in real-time. Maintain rapid, accurate documentation within our EMR system during your shift.
Requirements & Preferences License:
Active, unrestricted California Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license.
Certifications:
National Board Certification, active DEA registration, and
BLS/ACLS.
Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of dedicated experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Department setting. Must be comfortable being the sole provider on shift.
Preferred Qualifications:
DOT Certification, Occupational Health experience, and familiarity with Workers' Compensation cases are highly preferred (but we will train the right candidate to bridge gaps).
