We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team and help us continue our mission of delivering top-notch medical care to our patients.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least 1 years of clinical experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid work ethic, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with a wide range of urgent medical conditions. MUST have pediatric experience as we have a high pediatric patient population. MUST be available Fridays.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive physical examinations and assessments. Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, infections, and injuries. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and laboratory tests. Prescribe medications and other treatments. Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records. Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in California. Minimum of 1 year of experience in an urgent care or emergency care setting. Strong clinical skills and the ability to make sound medical decisions quickly. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong work ethic and commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. BLS and ACLS certification required.
