We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mid-Level Provider to join our reputable pain management clinic located in Vallejo, California. As a part of our team, you will work closely with our office to deliver exceptional care to patients experiencing chronic musculoskeletal pain and various neurological issues including migraine headaches, primarily with Workers' Compensation claims. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply medical skills to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals seeking relief and improved quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with chronic pain conditions, in collaboration with the supervising physician. Administer appropriate interventions, including pharmacological medication management, trigger point injections, and other therapeutic procedures as required. Perform minor procedures such as trigger point injections, joint injections, and botox injections. Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Provide patient education regarding pain management techniques, medications, exercises and lifestyle modifications. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Work closely and collaborate consistently with clinical assistants who will scribe, assist with procedures and provide feedback for each patient.
Qualifications:
Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of California. Current Drug Enforcement Agency Schedule 2 Certification Knowledge of California Workers' Compensation Strong knowledge of chronic pain conditions, treatment modalities, and pain management guidelines Proficient in performing physical examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests, and formulating treatment plans Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and provide compassionate medical direction Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaborate with experienced medical assistants Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage a diverse caseload efficiently Significant Mac computer proficiency
