This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive clinical support and patient care. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of clinical support experience in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate exceptional patient assessment skills, and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. This position is integral to supporting physicians and specialists in delivering high-quality, efficient care while adhering to all regulatory standards and best practices. The role requires supporting patients via phone, digitally, and in-person to address acute complaints, clinical questions, and prescription management. This role will also be responsible for delivering several of our cutting-edge, medical therapies, including Therapeutic Plasma Expchange (TPE) and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). This role does not entail carrying its own patient panel.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Care & Patient Communication Provide clinical care for patients with acute complaints and chronic medical conditions, utilizing 5-10+ years of clinical experience as a healthcare provider. Serve as the primary point of contact for all patient communications (e.g., phone, patient portal) that require clinical judgement, including acute clinical needs, symptoms, and treatment questions. Assess and appropriately manage patient concerns, clinical questions, medication requests, and other acute needs. Provide patient education and clinical guidance related to prescribed treatments, medications, and procedures. Ensure appropriate clinical follow-up and continuity of care. Utilize established protocols to appropriately respond to clinical messages. Ensure timely and appropriate escalation of clinical concerns to the appropriate provider. Assist with medication requests and refill management, ensuring requests are clinically appropriate and consistent with established protocols. Provide patient education and training, either in person or via video, regarding self-administration of prescribed injections, including testosterone and peptide therapies. Perform all duties in a timely, efficient, and clinically appropriate manner with a high degree of patient service that fits our concierge model. Operational & Clinical Support Collaborate closely with physicians, MAs, PCs, and other clinical team members to facilitate efficient patient care. Perform blood draws for patients as needed. Support in operating room with stem cell procedures occasionally and when needed. Maintain appropriate documentation related to patient care, procedures, education, and follow-up. Ensure clinical services are delivered consistently with established practice protocols, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. Monitor clinical supplies and equipment related to assigned services and communicate needs proactively to ensure uninterrupted patient care. Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE) Serve as the primary clinical resource for Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE) procedures. Conduct pre-procedure patient education and preparation. Perform or coordinate vein assessments prior to procedures. Assist with patient monitoring and clinical support throughout the TPE process. Provide post-procedure patient education, follow-up, and assessment as appropriate. Coordinate and oversee TPE-related supplies, inventory, and ordering to ensure adequate availability for scheduled procedures. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) Serve as the primary clinical resource for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) program and procedures. Assist with patient preparation, education, and clinical monitoring associated with HBOT. Coordinate appropriate patient follow-up related to HBOT services. Oversee and support HBOT clinical protocols and processes in conjunction with the Medical Director. Oversee HBOT equipment maintenance and coordinate maintenance needs as appropriate. Additional Clinical Services Provide clinical assistance with Red Light Therapy appointments and treatments. Assist with IV infusion appointments and injections. Assist with phlebotomy appointments, including appropriate patient preparation and clinical support.
QUALIFICATIONS
Active, unrestricted Colorado NP or PA license in good standing, with current national certification and DEA prescriptive authority 5-10+ years of clinical experience as a practicing NP or PA, with strong acute-care assessment and triage skills Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred Demonstrated ability to independently manage a clinical inbox, triaging what requires provider-level judgment versus delegation to MA and PC staff Procedural comfort with infusions, injections, phlebotomy, and vein assessment; experience with TPE, HBOT, or similar therapies preferred, with training provided Ability to educate patients on self-administered injectable therapies, including testosterone and peptides Excellent communication skills and a service orientation suited to a concierge patient base Ability to travel occasionally to other regional Colorado clinics
