Primary Responsibilities:
As a Family Nurse Practitioner , you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals and families, including but not limited to: As a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) , conducting thorough physical exams and obtaining complete medical histories Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions Ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic tests Nurse Practitioner Administering treatments, medications, suturing minor lacerations, and more FNP educating patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care Timely documentation (charts completed within 48 hours, lab results communicated within 24 hours if abnormal) Responding to medication refill requests within 72 hours Managing patient messages and inbox daily Seeing an average of 10-18 patients per day

Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of outpatient primary care experience as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
Proficiency in procedures:
suturing, pap smears, skin biopsies, I&D, administering IV fluids, reading EKGs and Spirometry Active Colorado State Nurse Practitioner license National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner Current prescriptive authority with no claims against your license as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP) BLS certification required (all licenses must be current)
