In this role, you will serve as a vital healthcare provider, performing comprehensive assessments, diagnosing conditions, and developing personalized treatment plans. Your expertise will support both acute and chronic care management, ensuring patients receive timely, effective, and empathetic medical attention. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and utilize advanced clinical skills to improve patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews to determine health status and needs. Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and DEA regulations. Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing EMR/EHR systems to document findings accurately. Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties including internal medicine, geriatrics, behavioral health, and emergency medicine. Assist with procedures such Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Educate patients on health management strategies including nutrition, medication administration, wound care, and disease prevention. Participate in clinical research projects or quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care standards. Ensure accurate medical documentation using EMR systems while maintaining compliance with all healthcare laws including HIPAA and Workers' Compensation law. Qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner licensure with valid certification in your state of practice. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, diagnostic evaluation techniques including sonography and laboratory testing. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems Experience performing procedures such as suturing, Familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes along with ICD coding (ICD-9/10). Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments such as urgent care or post-acute settings.
