Full-Time Four 10-hour shifts per week Rotating Saturday coverage: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM When scheduled for Saturday, the Friday schedule is adjusted to a half day. No overnight shifts. No traditional on-call requirement. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide comprehensive primary care and same-day walk-in services to patients across the lifespan. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced provider with a background in family medicine, primary care, or urgent care who is comfortable managing both acute and chronic conditions in a busy outpatient environment. The ideal candidate will be confident treating pediatric through geriatric patients, providing preventive care, performing common outpatient procedures, and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive primary care and walk-in services to patients across the lifespan. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions. Conduct physical examinations, wellness visits, and preventive-care assessments. Obtain comprehensive patient histories and develop individualized treatment plans. Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory, imaging, and other diagnostic studies. Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices.Required Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Current, active Colorado Nurse Practitioner/APRN license in good standing. National FNP certification ( FNP-C or FNP-BC ). Current DEA registration and prescribing credentials. Current BLS certification . Eligibility for credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans. Minimum 1-2 years of primary care or urgent care experience . Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work efficiently in a busy outpatient environment. Comfortable treating patients across the lifespan.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in family medicine, primary care, urgent care, or walk-in medicine. Experience treating both pediatric and adult patients.DOT Medical Examiner Certification Benefits:
