Job Description

Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Outpatient) - Flexible Schedule We are seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join a well-established outpatient behavioral health program in northeastern Connecticut. This is a collaborative, team-based environment focused on high-quality, patient-centered care. This outpatient role offers flexible scheduling , including Monday-Friday or four 10-hour days, with part-time options available . Providers receive dedicated weekly case review time and benefit from a sustainable workflow, including longer initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-ups. You will primarily treat children and adolescents (ages 8-14) with conditions such as anxiety, ADHD, ODD, and depression. The organization emphasizes a thoughtful, conservative approach to medication management . You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians and advanced practice providers, supported by a behavioral health-focused EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools. Optional coverage at a nearby site is available but not required.
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Experience in child & adolescent psychiatry preferred Salary and Benefits Salary to $175,000 4 Weeks of PTO year 1 Medical, dental, and vision coverage Employer-paid life and disability insurance 403(b) with employer match CME time and stipend Loan repayment eligibility (NHSC/HRSA) Mileage reimbursement (if applicable)
Pay:
$160,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
