Days (no weekends) Position Summary To provide high-quality, cost-effective care for work-related injuries, illnesses, and to provide occupational medicine services. Essential Duties & Responsibilities The APRN provider will deliver initial and episodic care to patients for work-related injuries and perform physicals, screenings, and related assessments related to patients' job functions. Care will be delivered in accordance with the standards and protocols set by the sponsoring physician and Medical Director. The provider will serve as an integral member of the clinical team, delivering exceptional patient care in Occupational and Environmental Medicine while maintaining patient flow and collaborating with administrative staff. •All other job-related duties as assigned•Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practitioner Nursing Program Certified as an Advanced Practitioner Registered Nurse with current state licensure and both DEA and DPH prescribing privileges. Skilled in traditional disciplines of patient assessment and management. Must obtain medical privileges at Middlesex Hospital in the Department of Medicine, section of Occupational Medicine. Complies fully with MH Medical staff bylaws for maintenance of MH privileges.Preferred Qualifications:
Two to three years experience as a practicing provider in an Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, or Emergency Department setting.
