Locums About the Facility This outpatient facility in Connecticut delivers psychiatric services to an adult population within a structured clinic-based setting. The facility maintains established clinical workflows to support continuity of outpatient psychiatric care delivery. A locum tenens psychiatric nurse practitioner is sought to meet the ongoing clinical needs of the population served. Clinicians will find access to scenic state parks, water activities, and biking trails, as well as local dining and cultural experiences. The state provides a range of year-round activities suited to a variety of interests. About the Clinician's Workday The psychiatric nurse practitioner will provide full-time outpatient psychiatric services for an adult patient population, working day shifts on-site totaling 40 hours per week. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations and providing medication management for adult patients. No call coverage is required for this assignment. Prescriptive authority is required for all clinicians considered for this position.
