Rockville General Hospital is seeking a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a close-knit, collaborative team! The Hospitalist team works cohesively to deliver high-quality inpatient care and is excited to welcome a new provider as we continue to grow and expand. This hospitalist role offers a unique opportunity to practice in a smaller community-focused setting while maintaining a wide clinical scope and autonomy with room for your professional growth!

Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistants Role Scope:
Under established guidelines and in collaboration and/or supervision with the practice physician(s), Advanced Practitioners perform routine physical examinations, and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients. In consultation with the physician(s) and care team members, Advanced Practitioners develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, e.g., referral to other health team members or specialists. Advanced Practitioners provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of the provider's practice as designated by protocols and identifies problems outside of their scope of practice and refers appropriately to physician.

Qualifications:
Requirements:
Licensure :
Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
Training :
Certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care-certified)
Experience :
