Join a collaborative team of experienced clinicians providing psychiatric care across the schools within our Campus Care Medical Group. You will find yourself providing onsite and virtual psychiatric care primarily for Trinity College and University of New Haven students. This role will also have a component of providing virtual psychiatric care to students across the Campus Care service line. This role offers variety through work in multiple school settings and includes responsibilities such as medication management, psychiatric evaluations, case consultations, and occasional educational outreach. You'll also have access to continuing medical education, conferences, specialized training, and opportunities for professional growth.

Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants Role Scope:
Under established guidelines and in collaboration and/or supervision with the practice physician(s), Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants perform routine physical examinations, and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients. In consultation with the physician(s) and care team members, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, e.g., referral to other health team members or specialists. Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of the provider's practice as designated by protocols and identifies problems outside of their scope of practice and refers appropriately to physicians.
Qualifications Licensure :
Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
