Opportunity Details Join Capital Medical Group's Cardiology Team! Capital Medical Group (CMG) , formerly GW Medical Faculty Associates, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner/Physician Associate to join our Cardiology team in Washington, DC. This is an excellent opportunity for an NP who wants to deepen their cardiology expertise, practice at the top of their license, and play a meaningful role in a collaborative academic practice.

8+ physicians, 1 APP, RNs and MAs EMR /
Technology:
Epic Responsibilities Provide comprehensive general cardiology care for adult and geriatric patients Conduct initial cardiology evaluations and manage follow-up care Evaluate and manage common and chronic cardiovascular conditions Maintain a panel of general cardiology patients Collaborate with cardiologists, APPs, nurses and other members of the care team Practice at the top of your license as an integral member of the cardiology team Document clinical encounters using
Epic EMR Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
$130K-$163K based upon experience and scope of work Health, Dental and Vision Insurance Retirement Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) CME Allowance and Licensure Support Required Qualifications Board-certified Nurse Practitioner/Physician Associate Minimum of one year of post-graduate clinical experience ; no new graduates will be accepted for this position While all candidates will be considered, those with previous cardiology experience are preferred Experienced NPs/PAs interested in transitioning into cardiology are encouraged to apply Active or eligible for Washington, DC licensure Growth & Development Dedicated APP mentor Structured orientation and extended clinical training Designated physician support during each clinic session Exposure to subspecialties including nuclear cardiology, heart rhythm disorders and pulmonary hypertension Access to Grand Rounds and educational lectures/sessions Collaborative physician support and continuing education opportunities About the Organization & Community Capital Medical Group Capital Medical Group, formerly known as GW Medical Faculty Associates, provides high-quality primary and specialty care to patients across Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia.
