Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner:

Conduct physical exams, assess health status, order and interpret tests, prescribe medication, and treat illnesses including minor procedures Take and record patients' medical history Manage and coordinate pain care, including medications Counsel patients on preventative care Schedule appropriate interventional procedure for patients Involves outpatient clinic May perform minor procedures in office
