Role Overview:
Providing direct patient care as a Nurse Practitioner within established protocols, policies, and standards of care, functioning within approved scope and credentials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct accurate assessments, evaluations, and treatments for patients aged six months to geriatric.
- Interpret electrocardiogram and lab test results.
- Manage chronic illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes, and asthma.
- Promote disease prevention through risk assessment, coaching, and counseling.
- Complete Medicare Wellness physicals per policies and guidelines.
- Handle emergent medical situations effectively.
- Communicate professionally with patients and healthcare team.
- Perform duties at various primary care locations as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2-4 years' experience, preferably in Family Medicine.
- Valid, unrestricted NP or PA license; board certification (FNP, AGNP, or PA-C).
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- DEA registration if prescribing medications.
- Master's degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
