In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient care within a primary care office setting. Your expertise will support patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment plans, and health education, ensuring high-quality care delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with healthcare professionals and make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through flexible scheduling and varied clinical experiences. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and identify medical issues. Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements. Manage acute and chronic conditions, including pain management, infectious diseases, geriatrics, and behavioral health concerns. Perform procedures such as suturing, IV infusion, venipuncture, catheterization, and sterile processing as needed. Utilize EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Athenahealth for accurate medical documentation and patient record management. Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Provide health coaching, triage services, and follow-up care via telehealth or in-person visits to optimize patient outcomes. Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current state licensure; FNP certification preferred. Proficiency with EMR systems including AdvancedMD, Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth; telehealth experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, diagnostic evaluation, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and drug enforcement regulations (DEA). Experience performing procedures like suturing, dermal fillers, spinal taps, gastrostomy tube feeding, and laser treatments is advantageous. Ability to handle complex cases involving acute pain management, infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, or senior/geriatric care. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on patient education and client-centered care.
