Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team, delivering high-quality patient care across diverse clinical settings. In this role, you will serve as an advanced practice provider, collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of medical conditions. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through comprehensive evaluations, treatment plans, and health education. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and clinical evaluations. Prescribe medications and treatment regimens in accordance with state laws and collaborative practice agreements. Perform advanced procedures such as suturing, IV infusion, catheterization, spinal taps, and dermal filler injections. Manage acute and chronic conditions across specialties including internal medicine, geriatrics, behavioral health, emergency medicine, and hospice & palliative care. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across disciplines to develop comprehensive care plans. Provide patient education on disease management, medication administration, nutrition, and preventive health strategies. Experience Proven experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in diverse clinical environments such as hospitals, urgent care centers, or outpatient clinics. Critical care experience including ICU or Level I/II trauma center exposure is highly desirable. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote patient monitoring tools to deliver virtual care services. Hands-on experience with specialized procedures like botulinum toxin treatment for aesthetic or therapeutic purposes. Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems for accurate medical documentation and billing processes. Prior work in gastroenterology, infectious disease care, or occupational health settings is advantageous. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security at all times.
