Responsibilities Develop comprehensive vocal curriculum tailored to different age groups and skill levels, integrating creative arts instruction and performance techniques. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence. Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adapting lesson plans to meet individual needs. Collaborate with colleagues on performance programs Requirements Proven experience working with children and youth in educational or arts settings, including preschool or classroom environments. Strong background in teaching music, vocals, performance Demonstrated ability in curriculum development, classroom management, behavior management, and childhood development principles. Skills in choreography, dance instruction, teaching instrumental performance, and working with students on creative arts projects. Knowledge of teaching arts across various mediums including performing arts, visual arts, and creative expression techniques. Experience with specializations such as creative arts instruction or adult education is a plus. Ability to foster a supportive environment for students of diverse backgrounds while encouraging artistic exploration. Certification or training in childhood development or behavior management is preferred but not required.
