$100-150/hour, depending on credentials and experience About the Position Nuviva Medical Weight Loss of Coral Springs is an established medical weight management practice seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), MD, or DO to join our team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a medical provider seeking a flexible, low-hour position in an established outpatient practice. The initial commitment is approximately 3-5 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours as needed. Our practice focuses on medically supervised weight management and provides established clinical protocols, experienced support staff, and an existing patient base. Responsibilities Perform new-patient medical evaluations and follow-up visits Evaluate patients for medically supervised weight-loss treatment Prescribe and manage medications when clinically appropriate Manage GLP-1 and other weight-management therapies Prescribe and monitor phentermine when medically appropriate and within applicable regulations Evaluate patients for peptide-based therapies offered by the practice when clinically appropriate and permitted under applicable regulations Review laboratory results and relevant medical histories Monitor patient progress, medication tolerance, contraindications, and adverse effects Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with the clinic's medical team and support staff Follow established clinical protocols and applicable state and federal requirements Qualifications Applicants must: Hold an active, unrestricted Florida license as an NP, PA, MD, or DO Be legally authorized to prescribe within their professional scope in Florida Possess or be eligible to obtain appropriate DEA registration if required for the position Have strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills Be comfortable working independently within established clinical protocols Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following is preferred but not required: Medical weight management / obesity medicine GLP-1 medications Peptide-based therapies Primary care Internal medicine Family medicine Preventive medicine Hormone Therapy Wellness medicine Prior weight-loss experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right provider who has a strong clinical background and interest in medical weight management. Prior experience with every therapy offered by the practice is not required. We are looking for a provider who is open to learning about peptide-based and other wellness therapies utilized by the practice and comfortable evaluating these treatments within their professional scope, independent clinical judgment, and applicable regulatory requirements. Schedule The position will initially require approximately 3-5 hours per week in our Coral Springs office . We are looking for someone interested in establishing a consistent weekly schedule. Additional hours may become available based on patient volume and mutual interest. Compensation $100-150 per hour , depending on licensure, experience, and qualifications. Compensation and employment/contractor structure will be discussed with qualified candidates. Why This Position?
