Description . This contract position requires on-site work, presenting an exciting opportunity for healthcare professionals looking to make a meaningful impact in emergency care. Your expertise will directly contribute to ensuring optimal patient care and health outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments in emergency situations Develop and implement individualized care plans Administer treatments and medications as per protocols Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results Manage patient flow efficiently in the emergency department Educate patients and families regarding health management Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately Requirements Current NP or PA licensure in the state of Florida Associate degree in Nursing or relevant field for NP, or equivalent for PA Experience in emergency medicine or critical care preferred Strong clinical and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments Team-oriented with a commitment to patient-centered care Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred
Schedule:
6a-6p, 9a-7p, 12a-10p, or 6p-6a
Daily Volume:
1.7 patients per APP per hour, 155 total (including ~30 pediatrics)
Annual Volume:
55K patients Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
