Job Description

Description . This contract position is based on-site in Inverness, offering a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced medical practice environment dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. As a Locum NP or PA, you will play a crucial role in our emergency department, delivering high-quality medical services to patients in need. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that all patients receive timely and effective care. This position not only allows you to make a significant impact in the community but also provides flexibility and competitive compensation Responsibilities Assess and diagnose patients in an emergency setting Provide comprehensive treatment plans and follow-up care Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers Perform procedures as required in emergency medicine Document patient encounters accurately and timely Participate in quality improvement initiatives Maintain compliance with medical regulations and standards Communicate effectively with patients and their families Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant license Experience in emergency medicine is preferred Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Strong organizational and time management abilities Commitment to patient-centered care
Flexible Schedule:
Day shifts No call requirement 204-bed hospital Paid travel & expenses Must be board-certified A-rated medical malpractice insurance
