A Nurse Practitioner provides primary care and nursing care to patients. Performs physical exams, orders diagnostic tests, and provides medications. Works in a physician's office or other healthcare facility, under the direction of a physician. Performs work similar to that of a physician assistant but has different medical training and degree.
We are a growing, physician-owned medical group expanding in Jupiter, FL seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our internal medicine team in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive medical care to SNF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning Responsible for full medical management and primary care Ensure accurate and timely documentation in
EMR Required Qualifications:
Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Florida Active DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start) Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills Comfortable working independently in an SNF setting
Preferred Experience:
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute care experience Background in internal medicine, geriatrics or inpatient hospitalist
Schedule & Setting:
Weekends only (Saturday/Sunday)

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards. Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirements. Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
