Monday-Friday Day Shift No weekends No on-calls Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients across the lifespan. The NP will assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions while promoting preventive care and wellness in an outpatient primary care setting. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies. Provide preventive care services, health screenings, and patient education. Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR). Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical team meetings. Qualifications Master's or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program. Current Nurse Practitioner certification (FNP, AGNP, or related specialty). Active Florida Nurse Practitioner license. DEA registration and prescriptive authority. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. 2 years of primary care experience required.
