Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to determine health status and needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and current clinical guidelines. Administer medications and injections, including and botulinum toxin treatments, following strict safety protocols. Perform specialized procedures such as skin biopsies, suturing, and dermal filler injections with precision and aseptic technique. Manage acute and chronic conditions across multiple specialties including emergency medicine, behavioral health, and internal medicine. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records. Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to care while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high standards of confidentiality. Assist in discharge planning, case management, and coordination of post-acute care services for diverse patient populations. Engage in ongoing education related to ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, infection control protocols, and other regulatory requirements to ensure compliance. Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification in your practicing state or region. Demonstrated experience with EMR/EHR systems such as eClincalWorks; telehealth experience is a plus. Proven ability to perform complex procedures including suturing and sterile processing techniques. Critical care experience preferred; backgrounds in emergency medicine, ICU (Intensive Care Unit), or trauma centers highly valued. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including psychopharmacology), and diagnostic evaluation methods. Experience working with diverse populations such as elderly patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, or individuals with developmental disabilities. Familiarity with medical documentation standards including ICD coding, CPT coding, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Excellent communication skills for patient education on health coaching topics like nutrition or medication management. Willingness to work in various settings in the office and the Medical Spa.
