Job Description
Santa Rosa Medical Center is seeking an experienced Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established cardiology practice in beautiful Milton, Florida. This position offers a mix of both inpatient and outpatient cardiology care, allowing providers to care for patients from hospital consults and post-procedure follow-up through routine outpatient management. Position Highlights Hospital-employed opportunity Monday-Friday schedule Light first-call rotation (up to 10 days/month) Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities Collaborative, physician-led cardiology team Manage a diverse cardiology patient population Responsibilities Perform inpatient cardiology consults and hospital rounds Conduct outpatient evaluation and management (E&M) clinic visits Provide post-cardiac catheterization follow-up care Manage routine cardiology follow-up appointments Coordinate patient care and treatment plans with cardiology team Qualifications Minimum of 1-2 years of Cardiology experience as an APP required Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Eligible for or currently licensed in the State of Florida Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with cardiology team About the Hospital Recognized for Excellence in Patient Safety with Leapfrog 'A' Grade and the Region's only hospital to receive A letter grade for Fall 2025.
