Job Description

Florida Medical Pain Management is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant. We have New Port Richey (NPR) and Spring Hill (SH) offices, and the position may require traveling between our 2 locations—primary location NPR. Sign on bonus of $5000.00. Our staff is highly trained in interventional treatment and will work hand in hand with the NP/PA, therefore, we prefer a minimum experience of two to three years in the Pain Management subspecialty. The job itself requires initial consultations and follow-up visits. We are mainly an interventional treatment center for pain relief. Our practice itself provides very minimal opioid medication for chronic pain. We believe that a multidisciplinary approach is often best practice, so we have an in-staff Clinical Psychologist and Psychiatrist. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for our patients through a multidisciplinary approach while adhering to federal and state laws. We have a wonderful staff who is friendly with a very easygoing environment. Overall,we are seeking an experienced Interventional Pain Management provider dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our patients.
Requirements and Responsibilities:
Specializes in Interventional Pain Management Examines patients to determine discomfort level and cause of pain Recommends/orders tests to help diagnose condition, determine extent of pain, and manage pain Provides relief from chronic pain through the use of low dosage medications, interventional treatment, or other therapies Educates patients on condition and treatment plan Creates strong relationships with his/her team and patients Maintains an organized and clean workspace Consults supervising providers as needed for optimal patient outcomes Performs other incidental duties assigned by the Medical Director Maintains knowledge of current research and trends
