ABOUT THIS ROLE

Real Recovery Solutions is looking for an experienced PMHNP to join our behavioral health and addiction treatment team in New Port Richey. You will work directly with adults navigating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions — conducting assessments, managing medications, and delivering integrated psychiatric care that changes outcomes in recovery. This is a one-shift-per-week contractor role designed for a clinician who wants meaningful, focused clinical work without a full-time commitment. You choose which weekday works best for your schedule.

SCHEDULE

One 8-hour day shift per week, Monday through Friday (your choice of day) Day shift only — no evenings, no weekends, no on-call requirements On-site at Real Recovery Solutions, 5352 Gulf Dr, New Port Richey, FL 34652 WHAT

YOU'LL DO

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric, medical, and substance use assessments Diagnose and treat mental health and addiction-related conditions within an integrated care model Develop, implement, and monitor individualized psychiatric treatment plans Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with Florida regulations and approved clinical protocols Review laboratory results and coordinate referrals to specialists as clinically indicated Collaborate with therapists, case managers, nursing staff, and the Medical Director to ensure truly integrated, coordinated care Provide patient education on medications, treatment recommendations, and wellness strategies Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and participate in case reviews Communicate clinical findings and recommendations to the Medical Director Support quality assurance, infection control, and regulatory compliance initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Active Florida ARNP license Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program Active DEA registration Current professional liability (malpractice) insurance Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner Preferred PMHNP board certification Experience in behavioral health, mental health, addiction medicine, or substance use disorder treatment Experience working with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid and alcohol use disorders Experience in detox, residential, PHP, IOP, or outpatient behavioral health settings
