Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Job Description Family Medical Center is a physician-owned primary care practice that has proudly served the community for over 30 years. We are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in an environment rooted in professionalism, compassion, and respect. We are seeking a self-motivated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team and support our growing primary care practice. Position Summary The Family Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan, with a strong focus on chronic disease management, continuity of care, and patient education. The FNP works collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff to deliver high-quality, accessible care while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient primary care services in accordance with Florida scope-of-practice regulations
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
- Accurately and timely document patient care in the electronic medical record (eClinicalWorks)
- Build strong rapport and therapeutic relationships with patients and families
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
- Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards Qualifications
- Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification and active Florida APRN license
- Minimum of 2 years outpatient clinical experience preferred
- Experience managing chronic conditions in a primary care setting
- Active Medicare enrollment or eligibility to enroll
- DEA license or ability to obtain
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
