Job Description Responsible for the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients in collaboration with a clinical team and the supervising physician in a dynamic & growing Primary Care setting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assess and treat patients with common acute conditions, illnesses, or minor trauma in collaboration with supervising physician. Maintain medical records to the highest standards & properly document all medical evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatment, outcomes, education, and referrals. Order appropriate diagnostic tests. Prescribe medications within scope of license. Assimilate knowledge gained from conferences, workshops, professional literature, and hands on training and implement new protocols/procedures in the the clinic. Regular and punctual attendance to ensure efficient operations. Assist in patient flow through patient triage and other nursing duties as needed. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications A "Patients First" attitude Ability to learn and utilize our EMR system, protocols, and clinical workflow. Ability and willingness to work weekend and holiday work as required. Provider dedicated to quality patient care and customer satisfaction. Excellent communication skills. Seeks to improve on professional standars and is flexible and motivated. Works effectively in a team and in collaboration with supervising physician. Promotes a positive work environment Prior experience in primary/urgent care or internal medicine practice is desirable but not neccessary.
