Academic Alliance in Dermatology, in affiliation with Anne Arundel Dermatology, is seeking a full-time Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with prior general dermatology experience to join our team at our Lakewood Ranch office. Responsibilities Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests such as biopsies and lab work. Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic skin disorders and conditions. Prescribing medications and other treatments when needed. Managing patients' overall care. Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of service and care our patients deserve. Review all new client intake forms, and document client treatments and plans of care. Build patient partnerships by appropriately matching patient needs to the various services and products offered and clearly educating the patient on how they will receive the most benefit. Attend/conduct in-house training programs. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of dermatology experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Committed to delivering efficient, high-quality care in a team-based environment Interest in building long-term patient relationships and contributing to practice growth Licensure/Certifications/Education Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Current Board Certification as NP or PA Active and unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain) Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
