Job description Palm Vascular Centers is a group of well-established out patient labs that specializes in endovascular arterial and venous reconstruction is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team. We are looking for a high quality Nurse Practitioner that wants to be part of a family like environment with the common mission of limb preservation which prevents amputations and lead to saving lives. We are in need of a confident, independent-minded provider who thrives on autonomy. Someone comfortable with seeing patients on their own and making sound clinical decisions with strong physician collaboration. Our schedule
  • no nights, no weekends, no holidays, no on-calls!!!
  • Must be currently licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Florida
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a NP in a Clinic/Outpatient setting
  • Prior experience with monitored sedation and surgical recovery a PLUS
  • Knowledge of name, use and location of medications, supplies and equipment used in operating room, recovery room the instrument processing area and storage.
  • Ensure regular operating room and recovery room equipment maintenance and servicing, according to established policies.
  • Ability to start IV's required
  • Pre and Post Op experience required
  • IR Cath Lab PLUS!!!
  • Vascular experience
REQUIRED
  • Understand all duties and functions of the pre/post-operative nurse, recovery room nurse, circulating nurse.
  • Must possess excellent patient care skills
  • Bi-lingual
  • English/Spanish
  • A MUST!!!
  • Knowledge of E-Clinical Works a PLUS!!!
  • Must be timely, dependable and reliable
  • Great team-player and positive attitude

Responsibilities:
Be caring and compassionate towards patients. Monitor, record, and communicate changes in patient's condition and respond as appropriate to the needs of the patient and family. Adhere to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and other governmental regulations. Use good judgment when dealing with patients, visitors, families, and co-workers. Demonstrate proper infection control measures. Work as part of a team. Gather and document patient's information. Knowledge of EClinical Works a PLUS Knowledge of Vascular and Cardio Vascular preferred Must be able to work in
