Job Description
Turnwell Mental Health Network is a clinician-led, integrated mental health group with a mission to expand access to high-quality care in underserved markets. Our primary focus is mental/behavioral health and integrative medicine/primary care services. We are looking for an APP (PMHNP or Physician Assistant) with a friendly demeanor and strong analytical abilities to join us at our location in Alpharetta, GA , a beautiful suburb north of Atlanta. Requirements Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations, including intake assessments & follow-up assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing support for individuals with mental health conditions. Create, communicate, and carry out treatment plans with the patient. Complete full and appropriate documentation to support professional billing for services. Interpret test results to diagnose any health issues and provide feedback to patients. Educate and counsel patients regarding medication compliance. Prescribe medications when clinically necessary. Communicate with patients regarding diagnosis and treatment plan. Communicate with and make referrals to PCPs and/or specialists as appropriate. Provide services at community partnership locations. Maintain required licensure, certifications, and CME credits. Other duties as assigned.
Daily volume expectations:
10-15 patients Full-time, M-F, 8 am to 5 pm No callMinimum Qualifications:
Must possess an active & unrestricted license to practice in the state of Georgia. Must possess an unrestricted DEA license in Georgia. Preferred to possess a current board certification by a national certifying body as a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Eligible for credentialing with all major insurance plans and to participate in Medicare. Excellent communication, patient relations, time management skills, and safety awareness are required. Computer literate and experienced with Electronic Medical Records.
