Job Summary:

We're looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a welcoming, community-focused school-based health clinic in Northwest Georgia. This full-time locum tenens role offers a manageable, predictable patient load and the chance to build real relationships with students, parents, and school staff while delivering thorough primary care. You'll work independently day to day, with clinical backup available whenever you need it, making this a great fit for clinicians who want autonomy without feeling unsupported. The assignment runs through May 2027, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right person.

Responsibilities:

1) Provide primary care to a mix of pediatric and adult patients in a school-based clinic setting; 2) manage a light daily caseload of approximately five patients while working independently on-site; 3) partner with school staff and families to address students' health needs; 4) create and deliver health education programming for the school community; and 5) consult with offsite clinical support as needed for more complex cases.

Qualifications:

1) Active Georgia APRN/NP license or Physician Assistant license; 2) new graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply; 3) comfortable practicing independently without onsite support staff; 4) a warm, proactive, people-first approach; and 5) availability for a flexible schedule that covers required clinic hours.
