Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. We work mostly Monday through Friday from 830 to 5pm. Fast-paced environment where your clinical skills and dedication make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. You will collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care that emphasizes prevention, education, and wellness. This position can grow from part-time to full-time. We are flexible on which days you work each week. Responsibilities We offer diabetes, metabolic health, neuropathy, wound care and other services to patients from our independent clinic on the St. Francis hospital campus. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to inform accurate diagnoses. Prescribe medications and treatments following evidence-based guidelines while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards. We do not prescribe narcotics for pain. Regularly provides training to diabetics in small group settings. Utilize eClinicalWorks electronic health record (EHR) system like Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or Athenahealth for accurate medical documentation and patient records management. Occasionally engage in telehealth consultations to extend access to quality healthcare services remotely while maintaining high standards of patient care. Experience Proven clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a fast paced environment. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks. Familiarity with specialty areas such as diabetes, metabolic health, neuropathy and wound care. If not fully proficient in these areas our providers will help train you if you are fast study. $60.00 - $70.00 per hour Expected hours: 4.0 - 32.0 per week
