Works in a physician's office or other healthcare facility, under the direction of a physician. Performs work similar to that of a physician assistant but has different medical training and degree.
Advanced Practice Practitioner - Primary Care Outpatient Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Practitioner to join the Primary Care team at our outpatient practice in Covington, GA at our Piedmont Newton hospital campus. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday.
In this role you will:
Provide medical services to individuals, families and/or groups. Emphasize health promotion as well as acute and chronic disease management. Augment a physician's ability to provide medical services to patients. Collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedules laboratory studies and professional consultations and provide direct patient care services. The APP will work collaboratively with multiple IM providers in the care of the PCPs patient panel.
