Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant (ENT) - Metro Atlanta, GA Position Summary The Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within our ENT and Allergy clinics. This position provides comprehensive support in case management, follow-up care, and patient communication. Working under moderate supervision, the APP evaluates and manages patients while collaborating closely with clinic physicians in complex cases to ensure optimal outcomes. This a full-time role, 40 hours per week, 4 or 5 days per week. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including interval histories and assessments for follow-up visits. Perform focused physical examinations of the head, neck, ears, nose, throat, chest, and skin as clinically appropriate. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring all care is documented clearly and communicated effectively with patients. Provide clinical assessments and formulate differential diagnoses related to ENT and allergy conditions. Prescribe medications within prescriptive authority, including antihistamines, decongestants, mucolytics, bronchodilators, inhaled and oral steroids, and antibiotics. Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic studies such as laboratory tests, radiology, CT scans, and audiograms. Assist in managing and treating reactions related to immunotherapy, seeking physician consultation for cases of greater severity. Collaborate with supervising physicians for consultation in complex or difficult cases, whether in person or by phone. No Weekend/Holiday call currently required.
