Job Description

Nurse Practitioner - Pain Management Pain Care is seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing care for individuals experiencing acute and chronic pain. Pain management experience is preferred. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history reviews and physical examinations. Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, imaging, and laboratory results. Prescribe medications and other treatments within the scope of practice and applicable regulations. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and pain-management strategies. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate. Maintain timely, accurate, and complete documentation in the electronic medical record. Coordinate care with physicians, clinical staff, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers. Follow organizational policies and all applicable clinical, regulatory, and patient-safety standards. Participate in staff meetings, training, and quality-improvement initiatives. Travel between Pain Care locations as operational needs require. Perform other duties within the scope of practice as assigned. Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse licenses in the State of Georgia. Current national board certification as a Nurse Practitioner. Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one, if required for the position. Current BLS certification. Pain management experience preferred. Previous experience treating patients with acute or chronic pain is beneficial. Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and patient-education skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Ability and willingness to travel between assigned locations as needed. Additional Requirements Maintain all required licenses, certifications, and continuing education. Must be able to satisfy applicable credentialing and background-screening requirements. Reliable transportation is required for travel between Pain Care locations
