Excellent benefits packagePOSITION DESCRIPTION
Provide comprehensive neurological diagnostic and treatment services for patients with acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses as part of a collaborative healthcare team. Patient volume is currently at 12-15 per day. Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with physician(s) to achieve optimal patient care and outcomes. The Nurse Practitioner will provide patient evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, education, and ongoing management while following established clinical protocols and collaborative practice agreements.Note:
I attached the most updated benefits. We expect them to see 12-15 patients per day. We currently do not offer production bonuses however this is something I plan to pursue in the future.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze and interpret patients' medical history, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to determine appropriate diagnoses. Develop individualized treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines. Initiate appropriate therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, consultations, and laboratory examinations. Interpret diagnostic and laboratory findings and modify the plan of care according to the collaborative practice agreement and established protocols. Prescribe medications, including appropriate dosages, routes, and frequencies, based on each patient's individualized treatment plan. Counsel patients regarding medication regimens, potential side effects, drug interactions, and appropriate use. Perform clinical procedures, including Baclofen Pump refills . Provide patient and family education regarding neurological conditions, treatment plans, medications, and management of chronic illnesses. Consult with physicians as established by the collaborative practice agreement. Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to assess, monitor, and treat disease progression. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR). Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, patients, and families to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Advocate for patients and families while supporting patient rights, safety, and quality of care. Maintain compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, professional standards, and organizational policies.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing program. Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner education program. Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Georgia. Prior outpatient clinical experience is required. Neurology experience is preferred; however, the practice is flexible regarding the candidate's specialty background. Two years of Neurology experience preferred. Current DEA license with prescriptive authority. Experience working with an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system; Allscripts experience preferred . Experience performing Baclofen Pump refills preferred. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, treatment planning, and patient education skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is an outpatient clinical position located in the Atlanta area near Vinings. The Nurse Practitioner will report directly to the Medical Director and work closely with physicians and clinical staff to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. The position requires direct patient care and the ability to manage patients with acute, episodic, and chronic conditions while working within established clinical protocols and collaborative practice guidelines.Pay:
$130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per yearWork Location:
