Job Description Adventist Health Castle urgent care clinics are a mission-minded, community-focused, team dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible care to patients of all ages. We treat non-life-threatening conditions with efficiency and compassion, supporting our local healthcare system with walk-in, same-day services. We are seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner, specialized in family or adult gerontology medicine, to deliver timely, patient-centered urgent care services at all our locations, as needed: Kailua, Pearl City, and Kapolei. The per diem Nurse Practitioner will independently evaluate and manage patients in a fast-paced, urgent care setting. Incumbent will maintain responsibility to provide expert clinical care including comprehensive or problem-focused health assessments, evaluate and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries, perform minor procedures, (e.g., suturing, abscess drainage, splinting) to scope of practice and level of competency, write prescriptions, formulate treatment plans, and order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, x-rays). Clinic is open 7 days a week and the standard schedule is 7 AM to 8 PM, rotating schedule.
