09/03/2026 Job Description Job Description Join a Growing Orthopedic Team Capital Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking Advanced Practice Providers (Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners) to join our growing orthopedic practice. We are continually building our APP team to support patient care across multiple orthopedic settings and schedules. This posting intended to identify qualified APP candidates for current and future opportunities, including: Orthopedic Walk-In Clinic Physician Team Support Float Coverage Sports Medicine Evening & Weekend Coverage Same-Day / Acute Injury Care Whether you are seeking full-time, part-time, PRN, or flexible coverage opportunities, we encourage you to apply. About the Role Our APPs work collaboratively with orthopedic surgeons, physicians, and clinical teams to provide high-quality patient care for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. This role may support multiple providers, clinic locations, or walk-in coverage depending on organizational needs. Ideal candidates are adaptable, patient-focused, team-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced orthopedic environment.
Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:
Evaluate and treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions Assess acute injuries including fractures, sprains, strains, and joint injuries Evaluate spine-related complaints including neck and back pain Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and tests Perform procedures such as splinting, casting, injections, suturing, and wound care Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care Coordinate care with physicians, radiology, therapy, and clinical support teams Support efficient patient flow and excellent patient experience Qualifications Licensed Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) Orthopedic, sports medicine, emergency medicine, or related experience preferred Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Excellent communication and patient education skills Comfortable managing a fast-paced patient environment Schedule Flexibility Full-time, Part-time, or PRN Float positions Evening shifts Weekend shifts Why Join Capital Orthopedics & Sports Medicine?
