Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have an interest or experience in pain management and a desire to expand their clinical skills and participate in the growth of additional services. This position provides an opportunity to develop expertise in pain management while working with an established patient population and collaborative healthcare team. As the practice continues to grow, there will be opportunities to help develop and expand additional clinical and wellness services based on community needs, provider interests, training, and experience. Prior pain management experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate. Training and mentorship will be available for providers who demonstrate strong clinical judgment, a willingness to learn, and an interest in developing expertise in pain management and related services. Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Assessment and Care Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Perform physical examinations and assess patients with pain-related and other health concerns. Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests and develop evidence-based treatment plans. Collaborate with patients to develop individualized wellness programs, including lifestyle modification, nutrition counseling, and exercise recommendations when appropriate. Educate patients on preventive health measures and the importance of a balanced lifestyle in managing pain and supporting overall health. Provide ongoing evaluation, treatment, and follow-up to support effective patient care. Patient Education and Support Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, pain management strategies, and wellness approaches. Provide ongoing support and follow-up to promote positive treatment outcomes. Help patients understand and participate in their individualized treatment plans. Growth and Professional Development Participate in the development and expansion of new clinical and wellness services. Opportunities may also be available to pursue additional training and services, such as aesthetic or wellness procedures, based on provider interest and practice needs. Contribute ideas and professional expertise as the practice continues to grow and evolve. Collaboration and Teamwork Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. Participate in multidisciplinary discussions regarding patient progress and treatment plans. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team in a growing and evolving practice. Documentation and Compliance Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, professional standards, and practice policies. Qualifications Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license. Current, unrestricted DEA registration, or ability to obtain appropriate DEA registration prior to independently prescribing controlled medications. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Interest or experience in pain management preferred. A willingness to learn, develop new skills, and participate in the growth of the practice.
